The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine in partnership with Alberta Health Services, is inviting applications for an Academic Dermatologist. The candidate should have prior relevant clinical experience, be committed to academic dermatology and dermatological research and be enthusiastic about working with learners (dermatology residents and trainees from other disciplines and medical students). Preferred candidates will have demonstrated clinical and research interest in cutaneous oncology or chronic inflammatory skin diseases. The successful candidate is expected to develop a subspecialty clinic and actively contribute to basic and clinical research in the Division. Applicants are required to be an MD (or equivalent) with certification in Dermatology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The successful candidate will be offered a contingent tenured or tenure-track appointment in the Department of Medicine, which is in accordance with the University of Alberta Faculty Agreement, and offers a comprehensive benefits package.
Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic Alternative Relationship Plan (A-ARP). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
