Covenant Health, in partnership with Alberta Health Services and the University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, invites applications for a 0.2 FTE Rheumatologist to be based at the Misericordia Community Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta.

Alberta Health Services is Canada’s largest and only provincial health region providing services for a population of over 4.2 million people.
Covenant Health is Canada’s largest Catholic provider of health care, with 22 Catholic facilities in 14 communities across Alberta. As a major provider in Alberta’s integrated health system, Covenant Health works with Alberta Health Services and community partners to positively influence the health of Albertans through a broad range of programs and services in our hospitals, health centres and continuing care centres.
The successful candidate will provide Rheumatology consults in hospital one day per week, while maintaining a community-based practice.
The successful candidate will have an MD degree or equivalent, with completed training in Rheumatology and will be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA). The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons FRCPC (Rheumatology) is required. Remuneration will be based on the Fee-for-Service (FFS) schedule.
The successful applicant will be expected to apply for a Clinical Academic Colleague Appointment in the Department of Medicine, University of Alberta, which will be considered under a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.
