The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, Division of Dermatology in partnership with Alberta Health Services, invites applications for a Dermatologist to be based at the Kaye Edmonton Clinical and University of Alberta Hospital.  Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the Faculty has been internationally recognized as among the world’s top 50 medical schools and as one of Canada’s premier health-education institutions.  The University is currently home to 39,000 students and 15,000 faculty and staff.

The successful candidate will be an MD (or equivalent) with certification in dermatology with the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada, be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).

Individuals interested in the education of trainees and a strong interest in research are encouraged to apply.  

Key accountabilities of the dermatologist will included, but will not be limited to bedside and classroom teaching of dermatology residents and a responsibility to develop new specialty clinics.

The successful applicant will be expected to apply for a Clinical Academic Colleague Appointment in the Department of Medicine, University of Alberta, which will be considered under a separate process through the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry.

Remuneration for this position is based on the Academic Alternative Relationship Plan (AMHSP). Salary will be commensurate with education and experience.
