The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, in partnership with Alberta Health Services, invites applications for a Clinical Researcher to be based at the University of Alberta Hospital.

Located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, the University of Alberta has been ranked amongst the top 100 teaching and research universities in the world serving over 37,000 students with more than 15,000 faculty and staff. The successful candidate will be an MD with subspecialty training in rheumatology, be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) and a mid-career researcher with a track record of success in clinical research.  Individuals interested in the education of trainees and a strong interest in research in the areas of Vasculitis, Systemic Sclerosis and/or Systemic Lupus Erythematosus are encouraged to apply, as the recruitment of this position is intended to expand the clinical research program in these areas within the Division of Rheumatology.

The successful candidate will be offered a contingent tenured or tenure-track appointment in the Department of Medicine.  Academic rank will be based on experience and qualifications.  Remuneration will be on the Academic Alternative Relationship Plan (A-ARP), which offers a very competitive remuneration package with excellent benefits.
