The University of Alberta, Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, in partnership with Alberta Health Services (AHS) invites applicants to apply for a fee for service Clinical Academic Colleague position within the Clinical Section of General Pediatrics in the Department of Pediatrics/Child Health.

The successful candidate will provide in hospital, 8 hour to 24 hour care for a busy community labour and delivery and nursery and newborn follow-up at the Sturgeon Community Hospital.

Contributions to education at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels are expected. The successful candidate must have experience in acute care medicine including newborn care and case room newborn care.

Interested applicants must hold an MD and must have completed CPSA accredited pediatric residency training in Pediatrics and be certified or eligible to become a fellow of the RCPS of Canada. Successful candidate must be eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA).  This position is practice assessment eligible.

Remuneration for this position will be fee-for-service with an added teaching stipend while on CTU preceptor service.
