We are particularly interested in receiving applications from new and mid-career academics who are seeking opportunities to develop a strong program of research and enhance their teaching expertise.  We are also seeking doctorally prepared Nurse Practitioners and Indigenous nurse scholars.  We welcome applications from individuals fluent in French as the Faculty has a French/English bilingual undergraduate program.

A limited number of Professorships, offering additional research support, are available for three-year terms for candidates with outstanding programs of research.

Qualifications

  • PhD in Nursing (or a related discipline if Master’s degree is in Nursing)
  • Current registration or eligibility for registration as a nurse with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta
  • Evidence of an emerging research focus and demonstrated potential for success in peer-reviewed grant applications
  • Committed to teaching excellence and demonstrated aptitude for supervising graduate students
