The Interprofessional Student Clinic Coordinator will coordinate the development activities for a proposed Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (FRM) Interprofessional (IP) Student Clinic. The Coordinator will have coordination and administrative responsibilities as well as independent information and data collection activities. 

This position reports to the Associate Dean Professional Programs. On a daily basis the FRM IP Student Clinic Coordinator will liaise with and functionally report to the FRM IP Student Clinic Advisory Group. The Coordinator is responsible for organization of all activities and related tasks leading to the development of a comprehensive proposal for the FRM IP Student Clinic.


  • Liaising with and reporting to the FRM IP Student Clinic Advisory group
  • Liaising with clinical coordinators and educators
  • Surveying current services and populations in FRM clinics and in the community
  • Supporting expansion of current IP activities within FRM clinics during 2017/18 academic year
  • Mapping out clinical schedules and identifying overlap in existing services
  • Exploring opportunities for inclusion of non-FRM health sciences students
  • Developing an IP Student Clinic model including human resources, supplies and equipment, operations and evaluation plan
  • Mapping clinic space requirements
  • Liaising with Departments and the Faculty Office to develop a sustainable budgeting model
  • Exploring how the clinic could support/collaborate with FRM clinical research projects
  • Responsible for report writing and record keeping of all related documents and files
  • Ensuring all stakeholders are provided with updates regarding the project
  • Producing communication materials for dissemination to stakeholders
  • Liaising with FRM Communications as appropriate 


  • Professional degree in one of the rehabilitation professions
  • Registration in provincial professional college
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a team of clinical faculty members and support staff
  • Prior experience with project management and/or administration in a healthcare setting would be an asset

In accordance with the Sessionals and Other Temporary Staff agreement, this position has an FTE of 0.4 and a term length of 9 months, with the possibility of extension, and offers a comprehensive benefits package found at: Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
