The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta invites applications for a tenured position at the Full Professor level in Probability. Preferential consideration will be given to applicants showing clear potential to complement and extend the Department’s current strengths. The department seeks a proven leader in Stochastic Analysis with an extensive research record to take a leadership role within the department.  Priority will be given to candidates whose work is related to the study of Malliavin calculus, stochastic partial differential equations, long-range dependence, inference in stochastic processes and mathematical finance.

The successful candidate will have an established research program, outstanding international reputation, and a PhD or international equivalent. The successful candidate will supervise graduate students and teach at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
